Men, You've Been Misinformed
Men's skin is about 25% thicker than women's, but thicker skin doesn't mean better aging. It means delayed collapse. For years, your skin looks resilient. Then collagen declines, and when it does, it drops hard: deeper wrinkles, heavier under-eye bags, more dark spots showing up all at once.
Most men were never taught to get ahead of this. Women were. And by the time the signs show up, you're playing catch-up.
Particle Face Cream was built precisely for this. One 6-in-1 formula engineered for men's skin — reduces eye bags, dark spots, and wrinkles, restores firmness, hydrates deeply, and revives dull tone. No complicated routine. Over 1,000,000 men already use it. Try it risk-free with a 30-day money-back guarantee.

New eats coming to Welden Village: Curry Pizza House & Hidden Tap & Barrel target a summer opening
Kernersville's growing south side is about to get a one-of-a-kind addition. Curry Pizza House and Hidden Tap & Barrel, a California-based concept that blends traditional pizza with Indian-inspired flavors and pairs it with a craft beer lineup, is preparing to open its first North Carolina location at 1715 Welden Village Avenue.
Franchisees Kenny Patel and Maulik Parikh told Business Debut the restaurant is targeting a July or August opening as construction and permitting move forward. When it does open, expect roughly 55 to 60 indoor seats plus another 20 to 30 on the patio, with a menu that runs from familiar pizzas to Indian-spiced specialties, salads, and lighter options.
The restaurant is one of two retail tenants developer Pine State Development has lined up for the Welden Village commercial area, part of the steady build-out along Kernersville's southern corridor.

Kernersville Family YMCA's outdoor pools and splash park are open for summer
Summer is officially in full swing at the Kernersville Family YMCA, where the outdoor pools and water park areas are now open for the season. Summer hours run through August 9: Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and Sundays 1 to 5:30 p.m.
The complex includes two outdoor water park areas. There's a Splash Park geared toward younger kids, with tumble buckets that dump water and ground-level arch features, plus a main pool with two water slides and shaded “funbrellas” on the deck.
It's an easy, close-to-home option for families looking to beat the Piedmont heat as temperatures climb into the upper 80s and low 90s this week.

German wind music comes to historic Körner's Folly on August 18
Mark your calendars, music lovers. On Tuesday, August 18, the Piedmont Wind Symphony returns to Körner's Folly with “Bierhallen to the Bandstand,” a concert celebrating the rich tradition of German wind music and tracing its evolution from festive outdoor beer halls to the concert bandstand. The performance begins at 6 p.m. inside the historic Cupid's Park Theatre.
It's the next stop in the symphony's year-long residency at the Folly, which brings professional chamber musicians into a setting unlike anywhere else in town. Cupid's Park Theatre, tucked inside the 1880 home built by designer and artist Jule Gilmer Körner, is widely believed to be America's first private little theatre, and its intimate, natural acoustics make it a remarkable place to hear live music.
If you've never caught a concert in the Folly's storied theatre, this is a fun and unusual way to spend a summer evening. The residency wraps in December with Moravian Holiday Brass.

Sweeney Todd takes the stage at Kernersville Little Theatre, June 12 to 21
Kernersville Little Theatre is bringing one of musical theatre's darkest and most thrilling shows to the stage this month. “Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street,” Stephen Sondheim's gripping tale of revenge, meat pies, and murder in Victorian London, opens Friday, June 12, and runs through Sunday, June 21.
Performances are set for Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. (June 12, 13, 19, and 20) and Sundays at 2 p.m. (June 14 and 21). The show takes the stage at the James Fitzpatrick Auditorium, located behind Kernersville Elementary School near Fourth of July Park at 512 West Mountain Street.
With its sweeping Sondheim score and a story that's equal parts grim and darkly funny, it's an ambitious choice for the community theatre and a perfect summer night out for fans of musicals. Tickets are available now through the theatre's ticketing page.
