Voice dictation that doesn't mangle your syntax.

Most dictation tools choke on technical language. Wispr Flow doesn't. It understands code syntax, framework names, and developer jargon — so you can dictate directly into your IDE and send without fixing.

Use it everywhere: Cursor, VS Code, Warp, Slack, Linear, Notion, your browser. Flow sits at the system level, so there's nothing to install per app. Tap and talk.

Developers use Flow to write documentation 4x faster, give coding agents richer context, and respond to Slack without breaking focus. 89% of messages go out with zero edits. Free on Mac, Windows, and iPhone.

Neighbors Find Common Ground on the Court This Summer

This summer, the local community is invited to lace up their sneakers and hit the courts. The 2026 Adult Spring/Summer Basketball League is set to return, offering a chance for players 18 and older to compete in a mixed-gender environment.

It's a place where neighbors can become teammates and the love of the game brings people together. Organized by the Athletic Programs department, the league runs from May 29 through August 14, 2026.

Games will take place on Friday evenings between 6:30 and 10:30 PM. Most weeks will feature action, but there's one exception to keep in mind: the session on June 26, 2026, will not be held.

All games will be played at the KREC facility. The league will use the Competitive Gym and both courts in the Dual Gym, so there's plenty of space for the action.

In total, participants can look forward to 11 sessions of basketball. Registration is already open and will continue until May 18, 2026, at noon.

If you're interested in joining, don't wait too long. Brandon Bullins will serve as the league supervisor, ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Whether you're a seasoned player or just looking to get back into the game, this league offers a friendly, competitive atmosphere. It's about more than just basketball here; it's about building connections and staying active together.

Summer Fun Starts Here: KPRD Camp Offers Adventures for Local Kids

Kernersville Parks and Recreation is bringing back its popular summer camp program for 2026, offering eight weeks of fun for kids ages 6 to 12. The camp runs from June 1 through July 31, with a break from June 29 through July 3.

Each week costs $155, but families can save through early bird registration and sibling discounts. Early bird registration opens March 2 at 9 a.m. and runs through April 3.

Families who sign up during that window get 5 percent off the weekly rate. You can register online, by phone at 336-996-3062, or in person at the administrative offices on Shields Road.

In-person visits require an appointment. The full weekly fee is due at checkout for all children enrolled.

Financial help through the Declan Donoghue Foundation was available, but that application period has closed. If a week is full, parents can add their children to a waitlist.

Sibling discounts offer $25 off per week when two or more kids from the same household are enrolled in the same weeks and paid for together. The discount applies automatically, but if it doesn't show up, a quick call to the office can fix it.

For teens who are 17 years old, there's a Counselor in Training program. It costs $35 to register, and space is limited.

Interested families can email [email protected] to learn more.

The camp runs from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day. A full schedule lists weekly themes and field trips, including the North Carolina Zoo, Top Golf, High Point City Lake Park, Kaledium, Wet'n Wild Emerald Pointe, Airbound Trampoline Park, the Nido & Mariana Qubein Children's Museum, and Main Event.

Keep in mind that details can change. Refund rules are clear: no refunds after June 12.

If you need to cancel before then, you must request a refund one week in advance. After that date, refunds are only possible under special circumstances, and if approved, you'll get back 80 percent of the fee.

No refunds for days a child is absent. Parents can also mark their calendars for the Summer Camp Open House on May 28 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. It's a chance for registered kids and their families to meet the counselors, see the facility, and ask questions.

A Son's 50-Year Quest to Tell His Father's War Story and Rebuild Their Bond

Kernersville author Darrell Davis wrote a book about his father Gib's World War II experiences and spiritual journey. A late-night conversation in 1968 sparked decades of storytelling that healed their distant relationship and led to "A Journey Through War, A Walk With God." The book shares Gib's near-death moments, his struggle with faith, and the ultimate peace he found.
