Voice dictation that doesn't mangle your syntax.

Most dictation tools choke on technical language. Wispr Flow doesn't. It understands code syntax, framework names, and developer jargon — so you can dictate directly into your IDE and send without fixing.

Use it everywhere: Cursor, VS Code, Warp, Slack, Linear, Notion, your browser. Flow sits at the system level, so there's nothing to install per app. Tap and talk.

Developers use Flow to write documentation 4x faster, give coding agents richer context, and respond to Slack without breaking focus. 89% of messages go out with zero edits. Free on Mac, Windows, and iPhone.

Local golfers tee off to support children and adults with disabilities

The Operation LAMB and Holy Cross Council 8509 Golf Classic is scheduled for Saturday, May 30, at Pine Knolls Golf Club. Registration opens at 7:15 a.

m., with tee time at 8 a.m. The tournament benefits Operation LAMB, a foundation that supports local children and adults with intellectual disabilities.

The name comes from a Bible verse, Matthew 25:40, which encourages helping those in need. Money raised goes directly to special education programs in Kernersville and Walkertown.

Each golfer pays $80 to enter. That fee covers a cart, coffee and donuts, 18 holes, lunch from Pine Knolls Pub & Grill, and a gift bag.

Players can also buy two tee busters and two mulligans for $5 each. Free beverages and snacks will be available, though tip donations are welcome.

Chuck Tierney, a trustee with the Holy Cross Knights of Columbus 8509, said the event has grown into one of the largest nonprofit golf tournaments in the area. He credited Bruce Baden and the Golf Committee for that success.

The prize pool has expanded to include cash awards for the top three teams and for closest-to-the-pin on every par-three hole. Other prizes include golf balls, gloves, restaurant gift cards, hotel stays at the O.

Henry and Proximity Hotels, gift baskets, and free rounds at several courses. Last year featured a hole-in-one contest with a new car from Parks Chevrolet as the top prize.

This year, Parks Chevrolet is offering $25,000 toward a new car for a hole-in-one on the par-three 11th hole at Pine Knolls. Sponsorship options are available at $125 for a tee or hole sponsor, $150 for a beverage cart sponsor, $450 for a Silver sponsor, and $1,000 for a Platinum sponsor.

The tournament sold out for the second year in a row last year, with 110 golfers raising more than $11,000 for LAMB and other local charities. The Knights of Columbus Council 8509, founded in 1983, has a long history of community work.

The group's Coats for Kids campaign set a record this year by collecting 637 coats, more than triple the previous record. The council also supports the Shepherd's Center, Next Step Ministries, Winston-Salem Rescue Mission, Veterans Helping Veterans Heal, Winston-Salem Boys & Girls Club, Shop with a Cop, Crisis Control Ministry, and others.

It worked with Forsyth County Sheriff Bobby Kimbrough and his team, as well as the Kernersville Police Department, to distribute coats, even reaching mountain communities affected by Hurricane Helene. The event will once again honor first responders.

Teams from the Kernersville Fire Department, the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, and the Kernersville Police Department will participate and receive free food and drinks. Those interested in sponsorship can call Tierney at (336) 682-9447.

People who want to donate but cannot attend can mail checks payable to Knights of Columbus 8509 to Chuck Tierney at 5724 Brightington Court, Kernersville, NC 27284.
